SEGEL 'CRIED WITH LAUGHTER' WITH KERMIT

Jason Segel has explained how he broke down with laughter after 'meeting' Kermit the Frog for the first time.

The How I Met Your Mother actor - who is co-writing and starring in the forthcoming Muppets movie - revealed that the puppeteers brought their Muppet characters with them for the first script run-through.

He told Jay Leno that when he first heard the anthropomorphic frog say "hi ho", he couldn't"
stop laughing. He said: "They had to stop because I started crying hysterically. He was so beautiful!"

He also described the "magic" that puppetry can create for children, saying: "That's why I'm doing this movie."
